SUP Board Lake Tour

This is a beginner stand up paddle board experience appropriate for ages 5 and up. We will take you up to a private reservoir with cliffs and views of the Sawatch Mountain Range, which includes eight of the twenty highest peaks in the Rocky Mountains including Mount Princeton.

Departs from River Runners at Browns Canyon

This Stand Up Paddle Board Tour is provided by River Runners, which is at the put-in for Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River. It is about a 15 minute drive to the lake.

When is the best time to Stand Up Paddle Board?

The best SUP board experience on the reservoir is during summer and fall. High water is not a consideration, so if the weather is nice it is a great day to go SUP boarding.

What to bring on your SUP Board Lake Tour

PFDs, helmets, paddles, wetsuits, first aid, and all other safety equipment is included with the price of your SUP Board Lake Tour. You may also want to bring base layers (such as polypro or other quick-dry fabrics), sun glasses (straps sold at River Runners), sun block, water bottle, and board shorts.
