Departs from River Runners Browns Canyon
These rafting tours are brought to you by River Runners Browns Canyon. This outpost is located right next to the Arkansas River – just six miles south Buena Vista, Colorado.
When is the best time to raft the Numbers?
The Numbers has a shorter season than some other sections of the Arkansas River, because it is so close to the headwaters and has less tributaries to contribute water to the river. None the less it offers great rafting mid-May through mid-August and many years the season starts sooner and ends later. During high water years this section is closed to commercial rafting during peak runoff, but the alternate trip through the Narrows will not disappoint.
What to bring on your Numbers rafting trip?
PFDs, helmets, paddles, wetsuits, splash tops, wet shoes, first aid, and all other safety equipment are included with the price of your Numbers rafting trip. You may also want to bring base layers (such as polypro or other quick-dry fabrics), sun glasses (straps sold at River Runners), sun block, water bottle, and board shorts.
